Louisville, KY Job Overview: The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining efficient production schedules that align with customer demand, resource availability, and operational capacity. This role ensures timely delivery of products by coordinating across departments and adapting schedules to dynamic manufacturing conditions. Key Responsibilities: Convert monthly SIOP targets into actionable production schedules based on current customer orders. Balance supply and demand by creating feasible production plans that consider capacity, supplier lead times, and manufacturing constraints. Maintain optimal inventory levels to support service goals and avoid shortages. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Planning, and Finance to ensure alignment and resolve potential issues. Monitor daily production performance and adjust schedules proactively to address material, design, or equipment changes. Allocate labor and equipment resources effectively to meet production targets. Manage complex multi-plant scheduling across various production flows (e.g., Mill to Gate, Gate to Gate West). Identify and implement supply chain best practices to improve efficiency. Provide analytical support for strategic and operational projects. Track and report key production KPIs; use data insights to drive continuous improvement. Ensure data accuracy across scheduling systems and reporting tools. Support strategic initiatives with production-focused analysis and insights. Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate on corrective actions related to forecast accuracy, fill rates, inventory levels, and safety stock. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 4-7 years of relevant experience in planning or scheduling, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment. Onsite/in-person role. Skills & Competencies: Strong planning and scheduling experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage priorities independently. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel required). Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Physical Requirements:
