Our client is looking for a candidate who will bring a wealth of expertise in strategic purchasing operations and advanced supply chain analytics, work closely with the executive team and operations to drive improvements in cost efficiency, service levels, and inventory optimization.

Job Duties: Maintain robust vendor and product knowledge by assessing market and industry trends. Provide overall vision and direction for the procurement function, aligning purchasing operations and analytics-driven planning with corporate objectives. Oversee purchasing execution to ensure availability of critical items while minimizing excess inventory. Lead cost-control initiatives that balance efficiency with service levels. Direct strategies to identify and reduce obsolete, slow-moving, and nonperforming inventory while improving turns and days-on-hand. Establish key performance indicators and metrics to assess the success of supply chain initiatives. Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and IT leaders to align procurement with demand trends, customer expectations, and overall business requirements. Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective partnerships and cost-efficient procurement.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field required Master’s degree (MBA or MS) and/or Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent) strongly preferred 12+ years of progressive procurement/supply chain leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility Hands-on leadership style with the ability to shift between strategic and tactical priorities Strong leadership and people management skills
