Warehouse Quality Supervisor
to lead a small team of quality personnel and ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of product quality, enforcing safety protocols, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting a culture of operational excellence within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to SOPs. Serve as the point of contact for warehouse management teams to resolve product quality and material handling issues. Monitor and report on key quality and safety performance indicators (KPIs); recommend and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve accuracy, reduce defects, and streamline processes. Oversee the execution of safety programs and protocols; conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments in alignment with OSHA and company standards. Design and deliver training programs for QA staff and warehouse personnel related to quality standards, safety procedures, and compliance. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive actions to reduce recurrence of safety or quality events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new process rollouts, audits, or customer requirements related to quality and safety. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality Management, Safety, or a related field required. Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain quality roles; at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity. Working knowledge of OSHA and other warehouse safety regulations is essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required. Certifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred. OSHA 30, ISO 9001, or other relevant quality/safety certifications are a strong plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret quality and safety data to drive decisions. Experience with regulatory compliance reporting, including SOX, is a plus. Key Competencies Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. High attention to detail and ability to enforce standards consistently. Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment.
