El Paso Behavioral Health System is a private 167-bed psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. Administrative Assistant - Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the Administration Department staff, including performing clerical duties, attending departmental and clinical meetings, taking meeting minutes, coordinating medical staff activities, maintaining medical staff files and providing support related to personnel matters as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: At least three (3) years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Additional Requirements: Typing speed at least 65 wpm; knowledge of medical terminology; thorough knowledge of Word and Excel; shorthand experience desired.
