The Go Rentals Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of a dynamic, service-focused organization with operations across luxury hospitality, private aviation, and transportation markets. Staff Accountant II is responsible, daily, for ensuring the smooth operation of assigned duties at the corporate accounting office. Staff Accountant II is a member of the corporate administrative team, which includes accounting, payroll, fleet, and administrative services. The administrative team works together to provide high-quality and timely support for the work of the entire organization. The Staff Accountant II role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with solid attention to detail and accuracy. The role also requires flexibility and adaptability; as Go Rentals grows, so will the requirements of the role.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commission reports.
  • Distribute commission reports for Airport, FBO, and partners; ensure proper setup and submission.
  • Maintain reconciliation of commission and revenue accounts on both the income statement and balance sheet.
  • Process the Daily Business Review (DBR) report : review reconciliation reports, resolve discrepancies, process draft captures, and post DBR in NetSuite.
  • Prepare and / or review various commission management activities, including vendor payments, cash deposits, refunds, distribution calculations, and year-to-date (YTD) reconciliations.
  • Verify and process commission payments associated with accounts payable; ensure accurate allocation to appropriate accounts.
  • Assist external auditors with DBR and commission-related audits by providing necessary documentation and account information.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Financial Close and Reporting :
  • Assist in monthly close activities, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and accruals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal financial reporting packages, incorporating regional and national performance insights.
  • Audit and Compliance Support :
  • Provide audit support documentation and ensure readiness for financial and operational audits.
  • Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and hospitality / transportation-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Collaboration :
  • Collaborate with Fleet Operations, Field Operations, and Human Resources teams to ensure accurate financial flow and transaction integrity.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems, with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel.
