Job Responsibilities

• As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for the monthly closing including preparation of journal entries, reconciling general ledger activities and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Apply accounting policies and principles to properly record, report and maintain financial data
• Maintain and control various worksheets, reports, ledgers and other data
• Assist with annual cost reports, special projects and analysis as requested
• Provide back up for Accounts Receivable, Office Operations, and other Accounting functions as needed.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years accounting experience preferred
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Understanding of accounting concepts
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (primarily Excel)
