The Human Resources Manager plays a vital role in implementing and managing human resources policies and programs. The HR Manager will oversee areas of recruitment, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and performance management, all of which are aligned with company goals. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to support and implement effective short and long-term strategies to achieve organizational objectives. As you efficiently manage employee interactions, your goal is to provide excellent service with an appropriate sense of urgency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Partner with respective client groups to understand their business challenges and to ensure effective and timely HR support.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions, etc.) and play an instrumental role in the administration of the annual performance management and compensation planning processes.
- Maintain employee files in the HRIS database to analyze trends and metrics to recommend, design, and implement solutions, programs, and processes that will drive organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc. to provide best-in-class HR support and programs to assigned client groups.
- Participate in enterprise-wide HR initiatives to effectively manage organizational changes.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues including EthicsPoint reports and conduct thorough and objective investigations; assist with unemployment and workers compensation claims, leave administration, and ADA accommodations.
- Ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently; monitor legal compliance with all applicable local, state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA and ADA to provide a supportive work environment while minimizing risk/exposure to the company.

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or organizational behavior or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- 5+ years of human resources experience
Skills
- Effective, professional communication skills; must be able to publicly address all levels of management and company personnel
- Deep understanding of HR practices and industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex HR issues
- Knowledge of employee benefit programs to communicate and oversee annual enrollment
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures; staffing and employment practices; employee relations procedures and applicable law; wage and hour laws; recruitment trends and technologies
- Demonstrated PC skills and MS Office skills
- Can deal with issues and subject matter in ways that require considerable sensitivity, discretion, and judgment
- Project management skills
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Decision maker that can work independently to solve problems
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred
- Master’s Degree
Experience
- 2+ years in a management or leadership role
License
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,330.00 and $156,530.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
