Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care to adult patients (18+)
Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD)
Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Provide preventive care and health education
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and administrative staff
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR system
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in Connecticut
DEA certification
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and team-based practice
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in outpatient primary care or multispecialty group practice
Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
