About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity begins on Nov 6, 2025, offering night shifts with a 7 on/7 off or alternating 4- and 3-night week schedule. The provider must be comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a trauma center and managing neurosurgical consults and stroke patients.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced critical care coverage for a 16-bed neuro ICU in a trauma center
- Manage neurosurgical consults during night shifts
- Oversee care of stroke patients and other high-acuity neurological cases
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines
Additional Information
- Board certification and current NP license in Ohio are required
- Clean background required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required; ENLS highly preferred
- Experience in neurocritical care and stroke patient management required
- Must be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity setting
- Emergency/Temp privileges available
