Job Description: A client in the aerospace industry is looking for a technician who will be supporting the Assembly side. This person will focus on electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical assembly by performing the following duties: assembly, wiring, and installation of aircraft components, assemblies, and accessories in a manufacturing environment to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

Who we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Excellent electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills Crimping and soldering skills Ability to read and understand technical publications, drawings, and schematics Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Summary of Duties: Use ERP system to identify data from units and associated paperwork to put assembly units into work Assemble, wire, and install subassembly and assembly units from blueprints, production/assembly instructions, parts lists, diagrams, and verbal instructions Accurately interpret component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders, and other documents from both the customer and company Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers Work with balancing and grinding machines to assemble products Use cleaning materials to prepare units for assembly Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and scales Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
