Job Description We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on Pediatrics and a NICU background. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, although first-time travelers with a strong skill set may also be considered. The position includes working with neonates and pediatric patients in a critical care environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality respiratory therapy to neonates and pediatric patients.
Perform assessments, interventions, and treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
Manage ventilatory support for critically ill patients, including intubation and extubation procedures.
Utilize a variety of advanced respiratory equipment and technology.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Two years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in a NICU or pediatric setting.
Active RRT certification required.
PALS and NRP certification required.
State licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist.
Charge experience preferred but not mandatory.
