About Us: The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve We’re looking for a 2D Animator to join our growing team! What you’ll do: Create 1-3 minute cartoon videos for our educational music series Use animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony) to produce animations that meet technical and creative requirements. Other software is welcomed. Maintain consistency of style and quality throughout the animation process, while adhering to project deadlines and production schedules Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in 2D animation techniques, tools, and technologies What we’re looking for: Experience in lip-syncing and character animation Knowledge of software applications like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Toon Boom Knowledge of 2D animation techniques and trends Knowledge of animation principles, timing, and character posing Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and creativity Watch our video to learn more: The Donovans Piano Room
