Key Responsibilities:
Lead:
Take charge as the lead designer responsible for creating engaging Native Homepages, PLP storytelling pages, social media content (both paid and organic), store signage, and UX/UI brand guidelines for our web presence. You will oversee the development of cohesive visual assets, including typography, layout, color systems, and motion design, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact creative work that enhances user engagement. Manage:
Spearhead the design and coordinate production of innovative graphic solutions utilizing imagery, illustration, typography, and layout across multiple formats such as websites, emails, print materials, social media, paid content, and in-store signage. Guide:
Lead your assigned creative team in conceptualizing and executing the design and development of imagery, point-of-sale materials, in-store signage, product content for AllenEdmonds.com, and product-focused email design, ensuring adherence to brand standards and guidelines. Partner:
Collaborate with the Senior Creative Director to manage budgetary considerations for production needs, ensuring effective utilization of resources including photographers, models, wardrobe, stylists, and product styling for photo shoots. Teamwork:
Work alongside marketing team members to solve design challenges and discover efficiencies. You will also collaborate closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure the highest design quality is achieved from the ideation stage through to production, serving as a backup when necessary. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Ad Agency and/or a Retail In-House Creative Department. A Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Art or a related field. Previous experience as an Art Director is a plus. Proficient knowledge of Mac, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Sketch and/or Figma, Acrobat, and MS Office. An understanding of the shoe/apparel industry along with a strong sense of fashion. The ability to effectively communicate creative concepts and ideas to clients and management.
