Role Overview:
True Connection is looking for a
Graphic Design Volunteer
to help create visually compelling, educational, and mission-aligned social media graphics. These images will be designed to
educate and inspire
our audience around the
Six Pillars of Interconnectedness
(Nature, Ancient Wisdom, The Cosmos, Cultures, Climate Action, and Mindful Living). If you’re passionate about
sustainability, social impact, and digital storytelling -and you love translating ideas into
scroll-stopping visuals -this is the perfect opportunity to apply your skills for a meaningful cause. Our visual style is aligned with IG profiles like
@unitednations, @theglobalgoals, and @1millionwomen , combining
clean, impactful design with informative and engaging content . Key Responsibilities: Design social media graphics
(primarily for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) that align with True Connection’s mission and aesthetic. Focus on
educational posts related to our Six Pillars , ensuring content is clear, digestible, and visually compelling. Create
carousel posts, infographics, quote graphics, and story slides
that engage our community. Collaborate with our
Social Media Content Manager
to ensure visuals match captions and weekly article themes. Use
Canva (preferred) or Adobe tools
to create editable, reusable templates for easy collaboration. Qualifications & Skills: Strong eye for
design, typography, and layout . Experience creating
social media graphics
(IG carousels, story slides, quote graphics, etc.). Ability to
translate complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals . Proficiency in
Canva (preferred) or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator . Familiarity with
brand consistency and social media design best practices . Passion for sustainability, education, and creative impact. Opportunities for Growth: Build your
portfolio with real-world design work
for a purpose-driven brand. Gain experience in
educational and cause-based social media marketing . Work in
collaboration with writers and strategists
to refine your skills in visual storytelling. Potential to expand into a
lead graphic design role
based on skill and interest. Commitment & Expectations: 5-8 hours per week , flexible schedule. Minimum 3-month commitment , with potential to continue. Ability to meet
weekly design deadlines
