The location will be at The Walk, a retail complex in Newport Beach at 2135 Westcliff Drive, Suite 100, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Our Studio Associates are the frontline ambassadors of the Pause experience—champions of our science-backed wellness offerings and key drivers of studio growth. More than just a client service role, this position is about building relationships, driving sales, and creating memorable experiences that keep clients coming back.
We are looking for passionate, sales-oriented individuals who thrive on connecting with people, sharing the benefits of cutting-edge wellness modalities, and turning first-time visitors into lifelong members. This is an hourly role with big opportunities to make an impact: supporting new studio launches, growing client memberships, and fueling the expansion of a rapidly emerging brand.

Hours Needed: Flexible availability, including weekends and closing shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver world-class client experiences: welcome clients with warmth, educate them on services, and personalize recommendations based on individual needs.
Drive sales through connection: confidently introduce packages, memberships, and promotions while embodying the Pause wellness philosophy.
Grow the brand: support studio outreach initiatives, local marketing, and events designed to attract and convert new clients.
Support smooth operations: manage POS/appointment software and assist with day-to-day studio flow.
Maintain studio appeal: uphold a pristine environment across reception, service rooms, and restrooms, ensuring the studio always reflects the premium Pause brand standard.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one year of experience in wellness/sales, fitness or customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Sales and client relationship-building
Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills
Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Time management and organization
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT:
Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Frequent repetitive movements.
Requires close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
Continuous exposure to moderate noise
Frequent walking and standing on hard surfaces
Frequent movement, lifting or carrying of weight up to 50 pounds
Frequent use of chemicals, including solvents, lubricants, adhesives, paints, and cleaners
