A leading manufacturing company seeking a
Director of Operations
to elevate manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions—and, depending on the candidate’s qualifications, engineering as well. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a growth-minded operator who thrives on Kaizen thinking, embraces modern tools, and is motivated to design the future of operations through continuous improvement, digitalization, and automation.
Manufacturing Excellence & Innovation Lead plant operations with collaboration and accountability. Optimize production processes, embed lean/Kaizen practices, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and throughput. Build scalable systems capable of supporting evolving customer needs and business growth, including successful new product and customer’s roll-outs.
Supply Chain Mastery Deliver world-class end-to-end supply chain performance with seamless material flow, effective procurement, and optimized inventory. Strengthen supplier partnership and ensure on-time, in-full delivery aligned with customer expectations and demand forecasts.
Strategic Leadership & Development Align operations with business strategy, manage capital equipment projects and ROI-driven initiatives. Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure performance in line with the company’s OKRs. Inspire and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and accountability.
Technology & Process Innovation Leverage modern tools -i.e. AI, automation, and advanced analytics - to enhance operations streamline, decision-making, and achieve step-change improvements in quality, cost, and speed. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital readiness.
Engineering Integration
(Based on Candidate Qualifications) Qualified candidates may additionally oversee Engineering functions, providing strategic direction for product development, technical innovation, and process scale-up from concept through production.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of senior management experience in manufacturing and supply chain. Proven experience in plant operations, process optimization, and team leadership. Strong knowledge of compliance and product certification processes. Demonstrated ability to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational detail. Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. On-site presence required; relocation support available.
