Job Summary:

The Mathematics Instructor has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, teaching a comprehensive range of math courses, such as Algebra, Calculus, and developmental math, to students (including dual credit high school students). Assigned classes may occur during the day, evening, and/or online with varying teaching locations including on-campus, dual enrollment, and Early College High School. Correctional facility instructional assignments may be available, if desired. This position is an exempt faculty appointment reporting to LSCPAs General Education and Developmental Studies Department. Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree required with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Mathematics Ability to work independently in the classroom Skilled at establishing effective working relationships with others Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience in a two-year college or in a university Experience advising students Experience serving on college-wide committees Doctorate degree in subject area Salary:

Commensurate Work Hours:
