About the ***** We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Manager
to lead the maintenance function across three chemical manufacturing sites in the Cleveland area. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and safety while driving continuous improvement through Lean initiatives and Kaizen events.
Key ***** Oversee maintenance operations across three manufacturing sites, with initial focus on the Wayside facility before rotating between all locations. Manage and develop a team of Maintenance Supervisors and a Facilities Maintenance Technician. Partner with the Plant Manager to align maintenance strategies with business objectives. Ensure effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. Lead and participate in Lean/Kaizen events to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness. Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and EHS teams to support capital projects and facility upgrades. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all maintenance teams.
***** Bachelor’s degree in
Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
required. 5–7 years of progressive maintenance or manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in chemical or industrial manufacturing. Demonstrated experience leading Lean/Kaizen initiatives and driving process improvements. Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing supervisors or cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel regularly between company’s three Cleveland sites.
