- Prepare a safe, beautiful, and engaging space for children to move, explore, and learn.
- Foster independence in everyday skills-from dressing themselves to caring for their environment.
- Build deep, trusting relationships with children and families.
- Provide lessons that spark joy, curiosity, and confidence.
- Observe each child to understand their needs and guide their development.
- Prepare an environment that invites exploration, discovery, and independence.
- Encourage practical life skills, language growth, and social-emotional development.
- Partner with parents to support their child's journey at school and home.
- Open floor space for movement and exploration.
- Child-sized furniture and materials to promote self-sufficiency.
- Natural materials-wood, glass, and metal-over plastic, fostering care and respect.
- Cozy rugs, plants, and natural light to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Montessori materials to develop fine and gross motor skills.
- Montessori diploma for ages 0-3 (or willingness to train with our sponsorship).
- Experience with toddlers in a group setting (preschool, daycare, nursery).
- A deep respect for the abilities of young children.
- Familiarity with Montessori or other child-led approaches (or openness to learn).
- ECE/Child Development credits and/or a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Fully sponsored Montessori training through the Prepared Montessorian Institute.
