This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a high acuity ICU, caring for a variety of complex cardiac and neuro patients.
People First in San JoseRegional Medical Center San Jose is a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capabilities, and STEMI receiving center. Our campus was renovated in 2015 and offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including excellent neurosciences and neuro-interventional radiology programs and world-class trauma, stroke, and cardiac services
- High acuity, 24-bed, mixed ICU with a variety of complex pathologies (all ICU patients except trauma)
- We see bread and butter med/surg ICU patients as well as cardiovascular and neurosurgery.
- 2 Intensivists 7 am-7 pm & 1 Intensivist 7 pm-7 am
- EMR: EPIC
- Our ICU Medical Director is also Chief of the Medical Staff
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO)
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting
- Active California medical license preferred
Scheduling:
- Block schedule with roughly 1/3 night shifts.
