Locums PA/CNP Critical Care Inpatient Only Toledo, OH Why This Role
- Provide neuro ICU coverage in a Level I trauma and comprehensive stroke center
- Manage high-acuity stroke and trauma patients in a fast-paced environment
- Support a well-established team with APPs and phone backup from neurointensivists Assignment Details
- Start Date: Late October / Early November 2025
- End Date: February / March 2026
- Coverage Type: Inpatient only (Neuro ICU + consults)
- Schedule: Primarily night coverage
- Setting: Neuro ICU (16 beds) and neurosurgery consults
- EMR: Epic
- Privileges: Required
- Estimated Credentialing: 90-120 days
- Trauma Level: I, Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Patient Load: Avg census 10 in Neuro ICU; 5 neurosurgery consults/night
- Support Staff: 3 APPs; 2 neurointensivists (phone support at night) Requirements
- Board Certified PA or CNP
- Active Ohio license (no exceptions)
- Clean background (no exceptions)
- BLS, ACLS
- ENLS highly preferred
- Must be comfortable managing neuro ICU patients in a Level I trauma center
- Must have experience with stroke patients and neurosurgical consults Clinical Details
- 100% adult population
- 40% trauma case mix
- Duties: Neuro ICU management, neurosurgical consults, patient monitoring, stroke care, coordination with trauma/ICU staff Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
