About The Position Interventional Radiology Locums - California, 1-2 Weeks a Month Southern California IR locums near Riverside; high-acuity trauma center with call options and travel fully covered.
Highlights Long-term assignment into 2026 1-2 weeks/month; daytime and call blocks Full travel and lodging covered No supervision, independent IR role
Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and scheduled outpatient cases Level 1 trauma center with EPIC and Sectra PACS Minimal pediatrics; primarily adult population Strong tech, nursing, and occasional resident support
Schedule 7:30a-4:30p daily Weeklong call blocks preferred Daytime-only blocks available when call is filled Consistent monthly availability preferred
Cases and Procedures Core IR: embolizations, nephrostomies, biopsies, drainages, dialysis catheters Occasional PE thrombectomies 8-12 procedures/day, including 1-2 complex cases
Requirements Board Certified or Eligible in IR (or DR with VIR fellowship) Active California license and fluoro certificate required Recent case logs required for submission
Travel Accommodations Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered Easily accessible from Southern California airports
