Automotive & Robotics Technician We’re partnering with a cutting-edge client to hire skilled Automotive & Robotics Technicians who thrive in hands-on environments. This role blends mechanical, electrical, and field-based work to support the build, maintenance, and deployment of advanced robotic platforms and custom-modified vehicles.
You’ll be working directly on real-world systems in a fast-paced, engineering-driven setting—ideal for those who enjoy solving complex problems and making hardware come to life.
What You’ll ***** Install and integrate sensors, compute units, wiring harnesses, and custom hardware into robotic and vehicle platforms Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues across systems Perform routine maintenance, retrofits, and hardware upgrades Support field operations with on-site troubleshooting, service, and hardware swaps Collaborate with engineering and ops teams on testing, prototyping, and system validation Maintain tools, inventory, and detailed documentation of procedures and repairs
What You ***** Hands-on experience in automotive service, robotics, or technical hardware integration Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics Familiarity with AC/DC systems, connectors, and electronic modules Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel locally Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in field conditions Detail-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills Collaborative attitude and clear communication
Bonus ***** Experience with EVs, autonomous systems, or sensor integration Soldering, crimping, or basic prototyping capabilities
