We’re looking for a founding engineer who is passionate about building products that users love and use every day. You’ll work on the core product, interact with users (executive assistants, managers, and professionals across industries), and help shape the roadmap. ShareCal is a high-performance scheduling platform built with modern TypeScript, React, and AI models. We expect lightning-fast, reliable, and intuitive experiences. We value pragmatism but are willing to go deep and use bleeding-edge technology when needed to deliver the best user experience. In this role, you will: Play a significant role in foundational architecture, technology choices, and implementation. You’ll collaborate with veteran engineers and explore your own ideas. Work on core product features that enhance calendar management and scheduling. Interact directly with users to understand needs, gather feedback, and inform product improvements and new features. Contribute across the full stack—from frontend to backend to AI/infrastructure—to ShareCal’s development and architecture. Owner mentality with a bias for action:
take full responsibility for projects from start to finish, proactively solve problems, and ensure outcomes meet user and business needs. Strong work ethic:
persistent, disciplined, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Obsessed with coding, prototyping, and building:
a prolific engineer with a track record of shipping impactful projects and writing clean, maintainable code. Product-driven mindset and strong user empathy:

Experience building products end to end with a focus on delivering delightful user experiences. Strong foundation in frontend and backend development, with ability to work across the full stack.
