Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial budgets, coordinate contractors, and manage the construction process from start to finish.
- Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and financial projections.
- Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trade workers on project development.
- Order and manage materials and equipment.
- Provide internal reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, building and safety codes, inspections, city guidelines, and state regulations.
- Perform cost estimating duties when required.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Define subcontractor scopes for contracts.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the construction industry.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
- Proven ability to manage teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with strict budget management.
- Highly organized with the ability to create and manage multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar project management role.
- Proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Projects, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledgeable in fiscal management, including pay applications, change orders, and contracts.
