Construction Project Manager – Commercial General Contractor

My client, a reputable Commercial General Contractor in Willoughby, Ohio, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse ground-up and renovation projects while advancing your career with a growing contractor.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of assigned construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Lead subcontractor meetings, coordinate trades, and resolve field issues
• Oversee safety compliance and quality control
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and internal teams
• Prepare project reports, documentation, RFIs, and change orders

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of ground-up and renovation projects
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project preferred)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
