What You'll Do Innovate & Build: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible. You’ll work on rapid prototyping and technology deployment addressing urgent needs. Collaborate & Create: Partner with a dynamic team of engineers, project managers, and end-users to define requirements and deliver solutions. Code with Excellence: Utilize Java and JavaScript to craft high-performance applications. Optimize & Solve: Implement algorithms and data structures to ensure performance and reliability. Review & Improve: Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices. Troubleshoot & Innovate: Debug issues and provide timely resolutions. Document & Evolve: Keep records of development processes and code changes; stay updated on technologies to enhance capabilities. What We're Looking For U.S. Citizenship is required for this position Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance, or eligible to obtain one Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Experience: 7+ years in software development (10+ preferred), with proficiency in Java and JavaScript Skills: Strong grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies, experience with Git and issue tracking systems (GitLab, Jira), effective communication of complex technical concepts Traits: Independent and collaborative spirit, strong problem-solving skills, keen eye for detail Bonus Points Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift/OKD Experience with VMware virtualization Experience with CI/CD concepts (pipelines, automated testing, etc.) Experience with Linux (Red Hat preferred) Familiarity with cybersecurity principles Background in defense or military software development What’s in It for You $100,000 - $165,000 total compensation and performance-based bonuses Health Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement Plan: 401(k) with company match Time Off: Generous paid time off and holidays Growth Opportunities: Professional development and training Innovative Culture: Collaborative environment where ideas are valued Ready to Make an Impact?
