Design fire protection systems and layouts with full construction documents Perform code reviews, hazard analyses, and equipment selection Coordinate with cross-functional MEP teams Manage scopes, schedules, and QA/QC standards Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge-sharing What you bring
5–10+ years of fire protection design experience in consulting Bachelor’s in Fire Protection Engineering or related field PE license preferred (required for senior-level roles) Familiarity with NFPA codes and life safety systems (fire alarm, suppression, etc.) NCEES profile encouraged for multi-state coordination Requirements and role specifics
This is a fully on-site role based in San Jose, CA — remote or hybrid is not available. Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
