We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated Head of Intermediary Distribution to drive the Firm’s next phase of growth. In this leadership role, you and your team will represent the firm’s investment capabilities in the intermediary channel, with a focus on RIAs, Multi-Family Offices, Independent Broker-Dealers, Bank Trusts and the Wirehouses. You will work closely with the firm’s executive leadership to build an enterprise-wide distribution strategy, and to build the organization that will execute that strategy, integrating and augmenting sales resources that are currently dispersed across the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning : Lead the creation and execution of Callodine’s enterprise-wide distribution strategy within the Intermediary channel, with a coordinated approach to representing all of the firm’s relevant solutions in each market.

Organizational Development and Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing distribution team with a collaborative, results-driven culture. Lead through change and continuously identify opportunities for team growth and development.

Talent Management : Successfully recruit top talent for selected new roles that will complement the firm’s strong existing team members. Coach and develop leaders within the team in order to grow the organization’s capability in concert with Callodine’s footprint in the market.

Business Development : Oversee distribution in the intermediary channel, leveraging your industry knowledge and relationships to build strategic partnerships and grow assets. Champion the firm’s capabilities in client meetings, presentations, and key industry forums. Personally identify and drive high-leverage opportunities and partnerships.

Brand and Product Strategy : Collaborate with teammates in investment management, product development, and marketing roles to ensure that the firm’s offerings are aligned with client needs, and that the firm’s message in the market is distinctive and consistent.

Desired Skills & Experience

Distribution Experience : 15+ years of experience in asset management sales and distribution with a focus on intermediary markets

Leadership & Team Building : Demonstrated success in leading dynamic and engaged distribution teams, including through times of transition

Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of market trends and ability to identify new opportunities for growth. Active network of relationships with decision-makers in key markets including large RIAs, Independent BDs, Wirehouses and Multi-Family Offices.

Strategic Thinking : Proven ability to develop distribution strategies that lead to growth. Ability to recognize changing market conditions and adapt strategy over time.

Execution Management : Experience building and managing frameworks for communicating objectives, monitoring progress, and providing ongoing management feedback to sales professionals

Entrepreneurial Mindset : Innate drive to build Callodine into a market-leading asset management platform. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with the opportunity to determine one’s own direction

Strong Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to motivate team members and to represent the firm with impact in any environment

Personal Integrity : The highest standards of professional integrity and ethics

Licensing : Role is that of a General Securities Principal, and requires FINRA Series 24 and 63 licenses (can be obtained after hire)
