Develop and execute user-centered design solutions across mobile, desktop, and living room platforms, focusing on simplicity and thoughtfulness for the viewer experience. Partner directly with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research, to help define product goals and design new features. Think while executing with great attention to detail, considering both immediate constraints and long-term product direction. Address user experience issues related to accessibility, watch experiences, and responsibility/transparency nuances within the YouTube languages ecosystem. Advance the paradigm of viewer language experiences by translating user needs and broader context into impactful design decisions. QualificationsMinimum qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design. Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments. Experience designing consumer-facing products. Experience creating, implementing, defining, or working with design systems. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications
Master\'s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. 1 year of experience leading design projects. Experience designing across multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop, and TV surfaces.
