Part-time Front Desk Associate - 32 hours/week Pella, Iowa SUMMARY At Pella Corporation, the Front Desk Associate is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. This may include greeting guests/contractors, creating employee ID badges, entering data into Pella systems, supporting retirement parties, supporting interviewing processes, and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Welcome all team members, vendors, and guests as they enter the facility, following all security guidelines for issuing temporary badges, sign-ins, and communications of their arrival to applicable internal team members. Support retirement processes, working with a 3rd party vendor to order retirement gifts and create “gold cards”. Responsible for creating / modifying / deactivating employee ID badges for new hires and existing team members at the Pella site and all subsidiaries. Create / Issue Vendor or Contractor security badges. Pella Perks updates on the company intranet. Update the HR organizational chart on the company intranet. Order lunches and provide snacks/drinks for meetings upon request. Support Chairman’s Club Dinner, Connection Events, or other employee events as needed. Notify appropriate team members of deliveries of food, flowers, and packages. Administrative duties regarding fire/tornado drills and emergency documentation. Support and coordinate waivers for volunteers, visitors to the Pella site, and other guest information. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPUTER SKILLS Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Oracle for reports & queries.
