An opportunity is available for two full-time Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position spans the current school year and is located in Ypsilanti, MI. The role requires a strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and implementing behavior intervention plans tailored to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral concerns and underlying causes.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
Provide ongoing training and consultation to educational staff regarding behavior strategies and data collection.
Collect and analyze behavioral data to adjust interventions and ensure student progress.
Comply with school and district protocols and maintain thorough documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
Proven experience conducting FBAs in an educational setting.
Ability to work effectively with K-12 students across a range of abilities.
Strong communication and collaborative skills to work within multidisciplinary school teams.
