Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven

Production Supervisor

to lead daily manufacturing operations at our dietary supplement facility. This role oversees the performance of production lines including capsule filling, tablet compression, powder mixing, and packaging. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, working knowledge of cGMP standards, and the ability to coach and coordinate a team for maximum efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of production operators across multiple lines (capsule, tablet, powder, packaging). Ensure production schedules are met, and output meets established quality and safety standards. Conduct line setup, changeovers, and material readiness checks to minimize downtime. Train and evaluate production staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and cGMP procedures. Monitor production KPIs (yield, output, waste, efficiency) and proactively resolve issues. Review and verify production documentation, including batch records, cleaning logs, and deviation reports. Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution. Enforce plant safety and cleanliness standards; lead daily shift meetings and safety checks. Follow established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions. Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner. Perform other related job duties related to the job, as assigned by management. Participate in process improvements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; and College Degree in a Science or Engineering field or equivalent from an accredited college/university; plus At least two (2) years Lead/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; or Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job. Proficient knowledge of cGMP’s and OSHA regulations in a regulated industry. Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards is a plus. Pro-active leadership skills (team-building, problem-solving, training, and coaching). Strong organization skills and ability to effectively prioritize daily workloads in a manufacturing environment. Proficient inventory management skills. Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor, conduct, and working relationship with peers, management, employees, and other individuals that interact with this position.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move freely in a manufacturing environment. Standing or walking for extended periods; climbing ladders or operating pallet jacks may be required. May need to work in temperature-controlled or powder-heavy areas. Must be available for overtime, evening, or weekend shifts as production demands.
