Fashion/Apparel About the Opportunity: Vaco is partnering with a well-established company in the fashion/apparel space to identify an
HR Generalist
to support their corporate headquarters. This individual will play a key role in creating a positive employee experience, driving engagement initiatives, and serving as a trusted go-to resource for employees. This is a highly visible role, working closely with the People & Culture Manager and leadership team. What You'll Do: Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing thoughtful support on policies, leaves of absence, benefits, and workplace questions Take ownership of onboarding and orientation, ensuring every new hire feels welcomed and connected from day one Partner with the People & Culture Manager to brainstorm and execute engagement programs such as wellness activities, employee appreciation events, and team-building initiatives Maintain employee records and HR data with accuracy, ensuring compliance and smooth day-to-day operations Support leaders in handling employee relations questions with professionalism and discretion, escalating complex matters as needed Contribute to ongoing HR projects, process improvements, and culture-focused initiatives across the business What We're Looking For: 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in
fashion, entertainment, or other creative-driven industries Strong background in
employee engagement
and event/program coordination for larger employee populations Working knowledge of HR operations, including onboarding, LOA, compliance, and employee support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to build trust and rapport at all levels Proactive, service-minded approach with the energy to be the "face" of HR at HQ Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
