About the Role
We are seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor
to lead and oversee maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position combines
hands-on technical troubleshooting
with
team leadership
to ensure equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards, and minimal production downtime. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise the maintenance team to meet daily production and facility goals. Troubleshoot and repair equipment across multiple systems, including: Electrical:
3-phase power, drives, print reading. Electronics:
Analog/digital, component-level repair. PLC Systems:
Siemens, Allen Bradley, ladder logic, programming. Instrumentation:
Equipment calibrations. Mechanical:
Pumps, conveyors, drives, rebuilds. Hydraulics & Pneumatics:
Print reading, equipment rebuilds. HVAC & Boilers:
Ammonia/Freon systems, chillers, furnaces, high/low pressure boilers. Welding & Fabrication:
MIG, TIG, stick, plasma cutting, brazing. General Building Maintenance:
Lighting, roofing, compressors, fire/sprinkler systems. Ensure compliance with
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
and all safety regulations. Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to maintenance and equipment. Collaborate with production and operations leadership to minimize downtime. Lead by example, train, and develop maintenance staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferred 4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades (vocational training may substitute for 2 years). Previous experience supervising a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting and technical skills across multiple systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficient in
Microsoft Office Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to perform physical job requirements (lifting up to 100 lbs., crouching, standing, squatting, working in cold environments). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to legally work in the United States.
