Construction Project Manager - Multifamily & Mixeduse
Richmond, Virginia We are supporting a
national builder with a strong portfolio in multifamily and mixed-use construction
to hire a Project Manager. This position leads
ground up residential projects from preconstruction through closeout
, with full responsibility for budget, schedule, quality, and team coordination. Select projects may require clearance eligibility for federal sites.
Areas of Expertise Multifamily:
Type V wood-frame, podium, wrap, mid-rise Mixed-Use:
Urban infill, residential-over-retail, select-service hotels Delivery Models:
CMAR, Design-Build, phased turnover, early preconstruction involvement
Key Responsibilities Manage delivery from preconstruction to final turnover Lead cost control, schedule, subcontractor buyout, and cash flow tracking Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and inspections Act as the main point of contact for owners, consultants, and internal teams Support compliance, quality control, and successful project closeout
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field 5+ years of GC experience managing
multifamily or commercial projects $25M+ Proficient in
Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Excel Experience with permitting, inspections, and SWPPP Local travel and weekend flexibility required
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$130,000 – $145,000 + performance bonuses Perks:
