A school-based social worker is needed to provide comprehensive social services within a middle school setting in Detroit, MI. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on supporting students social and emotional development, addressing barriers to learning, and collaborating with staff and families to foster a positive school environment. Key responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, performing student assessments, developing intervention plans, and connecting students and families with community resources.
