We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in electrical systems, including both low and high voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and commercial installations, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and maintaining high safety standards. The Master Electrician will be responsible for leading a team of electricians, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and providing expert guidance on schematics and electrical designs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and NEC standards.
• Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other trades.
• Mentor and train junior electricians on best practices in electrical work and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Master Electrician or similar role within the construction or electrical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems, including installation techniques and troubleshooting methods.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and local building codes.
• Experience in commercial electrical projects is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites, while adhering to safety protocols.
