Overview

IT Field Support Technician (Temporary Assignment)

• Assignment Dates: October 16 – November 15
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (must be open to overtime and weekends as needed)
• Pay Rate: $25/hour

Requirements

• Must clear Live Scan background check and have a clean driving record
• Valid driver’s license required (this is a driving position – staff will operate County vehicles)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, and troubleshoot IT devices (PCs, laptops, and cell phones)
• Set up IT workstations for election operations at multiple sites (Norwalk HQ, TOC, VOC, and Vote Center locations)
• Deprocess, break down, inventory, and store IT devices after use
• Support election operations by checking in, monitoring, and assisting with both administrative and IT tasks
• Provide assistance as a Field Support Technician and Call Center Agent during off-site training
• This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience while supporting critical election operations.
