About The Position
Urology Locums Physician - South Carolina, 7-Day Call Blocks
Urology call coverage available near Florence, South Carolina; 7-day blocks with trauma cases and fast credentialing.
Highlights
- 7-day call blocks, 24-hour coverage (6a-6a)
- Start dates still open from late summer through winter
- Full inpatient focus; no clinic or outpatient volume
- Just 1 hour from the beach
Practice Setting
- Level 1 trauma center with a high-acuity patient mix
- No APP coverage on weekends; PA support during weekdays
- Urohospitalist model: consults, rounding, procedures only
- 95% adult / 5% pediatric patients
Schedule
- Week-long blocks with 24-hour call
- Must arrive 1 weekday early for orientation
- Several Q3-Q4 blocks still open for 2025
Cases and Procedures
- Bread-and-butter: cystoscopies, stones, stents, torsions
- Trauma: bladder repairs, GSWs, adrenal, nephrectomies
- Must be comfortable with open trauma procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified in Urology
- Active South Carolina license with CSR and DEA
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered
