A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 school located in Jersey City, NJ, just 25 minutes from Manhattan, NY. This full-time, onsite contract role offers a 30-hour workweek with a schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, supporting 2-3 classrooms. Key responsibilities include: Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges Developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to student needs Collaborating with faculty by teaching Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support classroom management and student success Monitoring and adjusting interventions based on ongoing data collection and student progress Ideal candidates will possess: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working within K-12 educational settings, preferably with diverse student populations Strong skills in conducting FBAs and designing effective BIPs Ability to train and support educational staff in ABA methods Excellent communication and collaboration skills This opportunity is well suited for professionals residing in or near Cliffside Park, Secaucus, Hoboken, or surrounding areas, given the onsite nature of the role.
