A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment located in Canton, MI. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive psychological services tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting evaluation results, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and offering counseling and intervention strategies that promote student well-being. Additionally, you will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and support the social-emotional development of students.
Desired qualifications and skills:
Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience conducting K-12 psychological assessments and evaluations.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant laws.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, educators, and community agencies.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and provide timely documentation.
