A K-12 educational institution in Holland, MI is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support student development, promote mental health, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning needs and challenges
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide counseling and mental health support for students facing emotional and behavioral difficulties
Offer guidance and training to school staff on effective strategies for student support
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to foster academic and social success
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts regarding student welfare
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working across K-12 grade levels
Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a school community
Excellent communication and organizational skills
