A reputable K-12 school in Maricopa, AZ is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional needs of its student population for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is critical in fostering a positive learning environment through comprehensive psychological services and collaborative student support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide individualized instruction.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies.
Provide counseling and support services to students exhibiting emotional or behavioral challenges.
Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Gather and analyze behavioral and educational data to inform decision-making processes.
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding student services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working with K-12 student populations.
Strong skills in psychological assessment tools and data gathering techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
