A part-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 educational setting in Rockland, ME. This contract position offers flexible hours, with an expected commitment of 8 hours per week and the potential to increase up to 16 hours depending on budget availability. The role is ideal for professionals looking to contribute specialized expertise in behavior analysis within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs
Develop and implement positive behavioral support plans tailored to individual student requirements
Provide consultation and collaboration with Day Treatment program providers to ensure consistent and effective behavioral interventions
Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to promote positive outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Experience working within K-12 educational settings
Strong skills in conducting FBAs and designing behavioral support plans
Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external program providers
Excellent communication and organizational skills
