The company specializes in a variety of commercial and industrial projects, ranging from ground-up construction to interior renovations and specialty builds. Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand scope and identify potential challenges or risks
- Analyze and compare subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and proper coverage
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and contingency costs
- Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs, including overhead and profit
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scope and budget alignment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction
- Experience with both ground-up and interior projects preferred
- Willingness to provide a list of past projects and areas of expertise
