We're seeking a highly organized and customer-service-oriented Office Assistant/Receptionist to support the day-to-day operations of our Austin office. Office Receptionist/Admin

in Austin, you'll play a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for employees, vendors, and visitors.

Role Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact by greeting guests, managing calls and emails, and coordinating visitor access with building security

Manage mail distribution, office/kitchen supply inventory, vendor coordination, and maintenance requests to keep the office running efficiently

Prepare meeting spaces, coordinate catering, and assist with internal events to ensure seamless execution

Process vendor invoices and expense reports in SAP; provide general administrative support to the Facilities team

Build positive relationships across the office and ensure timely, clear communication regarding office services and facility needs

This role is office-based in Austin, TX, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Occasional travel to other RWE offices may be required for training or company events

Standard office environment with frequent interaction across departments and with external partners

Job Requirements and Experiences:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred (or 4-6 years of relevant experience)

Prior experience in office administration, front desk, or facilities coordination required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); comfortable with general technology tools required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment are required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to deliver great customer service required

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for expense reporting and invoicing preferred

Event planning or coordination experience preferred

Familiarity with vendor management and facility support processes preferred

Proactive, motivated self-starter who enjoys problem-solving

Be able to thrive in a team environment, but can also work independently

Be adaptable, approachable, and professional in all interactions

Work Environment:

This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time.
