: The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing projects to expand facilities operations. Expansion projects include manufacturing capabilities for the manufacture of in-vitro diagnostic medical devices, ensuring that the project meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams such as Facilities/Environmental Health and Safety, Service, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain functions.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 5 years in project management role. PMP certification preferred. • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts, project management tools, and PC skills (MS Office) • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to lead through influence and coordinate diverse teams and functions. • Demonstrated leader with the ability to prioritize, focus team efforts, overcome obstacles, mitigate risks, and complete key objectives.
Key Responsibilities • Lead and execute projects related to facilities, construction, and layout changes required for manufacturing plant readiness/manufacturing line expansion. • Coordinate with outside contractors/vendors/permitting agencies to drive schedule adherence and on-time, on-budget delivery. • Coordinate incoming equipment placement for new manufacturing lines with design transfer teams. • Support design transfer teams and ensure all facilities changes follow industry standards and regulations, including medical device industry requirements. • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards; with a focus on medical device industry requirements (IVD, GMP) and validation processes.
