Position Summary:
A skilled and driven Operations Project Manager is needed to lead expansion projects for manufacturing operations—specifically for in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical devices. This role focuses on coordinating facility readiness, equipment installation, and layout changes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
The position works cross-functionally with teams in Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Planning, Service, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project execution in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects related to facility expansion and manufacturing line development.
Execute construction and layout modifications to support production growth.
Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and local permitting agencies to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
Oversee the placement and integration of new equipment for manufacturing lines.
Support design transfer teams while ensuring compliance with medical device industry standards (IVD, GMP).
Manage all phases of project execution to meet regulatory, quality, and operational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years in a project management role; PMP certification preferred.
Proficient in Lean Manufacturing tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to influence and align diverse teams across multiple functions.
Proven success in navigating complex, regulated projects and achieving project milestones.
Pay Details: $37.00 to $37.80 per hour
