This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule
Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) or 5x8 hours as needed. On-call required (1 weekday, 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays). Job Description
The Cath Lab Technologist performs diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. Utilizing advanced equipment and techniques, the technologist assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases. Responsibilities
Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, stent placement, and coronary interventions. Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and document critical information during procedures. Prepare access sites, maintain sterile fields, and assist the physician as a scrub tech. Operate and maintain high-technology equipment including fluoro machines and vascular closure systems. Adhere to isolation precautions and utilize rapid response teams as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
1.5-2 years of experience in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab required. Must possess an ARRT license and be able to run fluoro machines in the lab. Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required; ARRT CI certification preferred. WV Medical Imaging License required, with a possible pending license accepted if submitted prior to start date.
